Compact Scale Quantizer

SQT is a compact scale quantizer with just 2 HP. By combining it with an analog sequencer or LFO, you can easily create musical phrases.

The input CV is quantized with a selectable scale from 12 presets and then it is output from the “CV Out” jack. Also, a trigger pulse is output from the “TRIG Out” jack at the timing when the output CV is updated.

If a trigger pulse is input to the trigger input, the output CV will be updated only when the trigger pulse is input. When combined with an analog sequencer, the output CV can be updated at precise timing by inputting a clock pulse to the trigger input.

The 12 preset scales are editable. Additionally, you can obtain further scale variations by rotating the scale notes.

As a sub-function, it is also possible to internally add or subtract a fixed voltage or random voltage to the input CV.

The current mode and parameters will be automatically saved 5 seconds after being changed and will be automatically loaded on next startup.

SQT supports MIDI expansion module (MIDI CoM+) and can send and receive scale information as MIDI messages. This allows you to synchronize the scales of multiple modules.

SQT はわずか2HPのコンパクトなスケールクオンタイザーです。 アナログシーケンサーやLFOと組み合わせることで、音楽的なフレーズを簡単に作ることができます。

入力されたCVは12のプリセットから選択可能なスケールでクオンタイズされて出力されます。 また、出力CVが更新されたタイミングで、TRIG出力からトリガーパルスが出力されます。

トリガー入力にトリガーが入力されている場合は、トリガーが入力されたタイミングのみ出力CVが更新されます。 アナログシーケンサーと組み合わせる時は、トリガー入力にクロックパルスを入力することで正確なタイミングで出力CVを更新することができます。

12のプリセットスケールはエディット可能です。 さらに、スケールノートの回転により、さらなるスケールのバリエーションを得ることもできます。

サブ機能として、入力CVに対して一定の電圧やランダム電圧を内部的に足し引きすることも可能です。

現在のモード及びパラメータは、変更から5秒後に自動的に保存され、次回起動時に自動的に読み込まれます。

SQTはMIDI拡張モジュール (MIDI CoM+) に対応しており、スケール情報を送受信することが可能です。 これにより、複数台のモジュールのスケールを同期することが可能です。
